We Are Amity University Maharashtra.
Amity University Maharashtra with its future-ready, sprawling campus, a world - class learning infrastructure and over a kilometer long frontage on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway offers a 360 degree career transformational set-up. With its state of the art infrastructure, the campus facilitates all-round growth of students. It also houses world class sports facilities for soccer, cricket, lawn tennis and badminton.
There are several well-appointed residential options for students as well as faculty within its premises. Amity University Campus has been designed by a globally renowned US architect who has previously designed Boston and California State University.
This hackathon is organised by Amity School of Engineering and Technology of Amity University Mumbai, in collaboration with Google Developer Student Clubs Amity University Mumbai.
What is Nirman?
Amity University Mumbai's second hackathon, "Nirman Hackathon 2023", two-day extravaganza brought together over 200 participants from states across India, uniting bright minds under the overarching themes of traditional web development, web3, healthcare, smart innovation, and smart city.
The event's success was not just measured in the completion of coding challenges but also in the sheer dedication, determination, and tireless efforts demonstrated by participants, mentors, and coordinators alike. Nirman 23 not only showcased the skill of emerging innovators but also underscored the impactful role of collaboration in advancing the frontiers of technology.
Domains
Web Development
Participants in this track will focus on creating innovative and functional web applications. From designing user interfaces to implementing back-end functionalities, teams will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various web development frameworks.
Blockchain
Explore the exciting world of decentralized technologies. Teams can work on projects related to blockchain applications, smart contracts, decentralized finance (DeFi), or any other innovative use of blockchain technology. This track encourages participants to dive into the decentralized ecosystem and create solutions that leverage the security and transparency of blockchain.
AI/ML
Delve into the realm of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Participants can work on projects ranging from predictive analytics and natural language processing to computer vision and recommendation systems. This track encourages teams to use AI/ML algorithms to solve real-world problems and enhance the capabilities of software applications.
App Development
Focus on creating mobile applications for various platforms such as iOS or Android. Teams can develop innovative and user-friendly apps that address specific needs or challenges. This track encourages participants to showcase their creativity in mobile app design, functionality, and user experience.
Open Track
For those who want to explore a domain not covered by the predefined tracks, the Open Track allows participants to work on projects of their choice. Whether it's combining elements from different domains, experimenting with emerging technologies, or addressing unique challenges, this track provides the flexibility for participants to bring their diverse ideas to life.
